DonOlsonImagery.com was formed in 2007. My goal is to provide the best quality  photos at a reasonable price.

My experience in photography started in the mid 1950's "working as a Photographic assistant to my Dad".  I would load film holders and hand him flash bulbs while he was on assignments. I also would help him out in the wet darkroom developing, processing and printing images.

Flash froward to the present:
It took awhile but I have embraced the digital age and find digital photography most full filing. I want to provide those interested in my work with the highest quality images I can produce. Though I enjoy racing event work, "I like to get down, dirty and up close for the exciting shots." I also enjoy getting together and photographing people in their natural environment using natural light when possible. Travel photography is also an area I like.

I would like to add that my images are optimized for print. The images you see here for easy of posting have been compressed in the .jpg format and sRBG color space. Though I try to maintain as high a quality as possible, file information is lost and color information will be altered in this process. Prints in their natural state come out beautifully.
